Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis are delighted to announce that due to the growth of our support group network, we are looking for a Support Group Coordinator for the London and South East Region.
APF was founded in 2013 by a group of patients, family members and medical professionals all with a personal or professional connection to the disease, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). IPF is a progressive and irreversible condition that results in scarring of the lungs and affects approximately 30,000 people in the UK. For some, the outcome of this disease is worse than many cancers with an average survival of 3-4 years.
We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual with a special interest in the area of Pulmonary Fibrosis for two days a week, for a 12-month contract to develop and maintain the charity’s support group work in London and South East of England.
