  • Millie and Alice Wise and friends take on The 3 Peaks Challenge!

An incredible group of fundraisers have raised £9507 for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis by taking on The 3 Peaks Challenge! Sisters Alice and Millie Wise along with a group of close friends and family took on the challenge. A huge thanks to the team: Alice Wise, Millie Wise, Harry Biddle, Amy Stoddart, Charlie Truepenny, Joe Taylor, Katie Tyrrell and Lucia Tyrrell!

"We did the 3 Peaks Challenge for our dad, Jon Wise, who was diagnosed with IPF in 2016. As little is known about the disease, we wanted to raise awareness, as well as raising money for a fantastic charity. We completed the challenge in 23 hours and 53 minutes, through some horrific weather, but it was all worth it!"

  • Direct Line Group walk 32 miles from Doncaster to Leeds office

The Direct Line Group decided to walk from their office in Doncaster to their office in Leeds last week for IPF World Week – that’s 32 miles!
The team have raised a total of £2500 + £467 gift aid on their Just Giving page and Direct Line will be matching the funds so there’s an extra £2500 to come – that’s an amazing £5476.00 raised for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis!

We showed that this team are unstoppable - they will achieve their goals and everyone plays their part, no matter how that looks. They look after each other and help pull out the best in people.
