Tameside Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group

Tameside held their first patient support group for those affected by pulmonary Fibrosis on 11th April 2018 in Ashton- Under- Lyne. The group was arranged and chaired by Clive Green and was a huge success. Nurses attended from Tameside Hospital and Wythenshawe Hospital attended the afternoon and Lorna McLauchlan (Support Group Co-ordinator) and Stephen Morgan- Hyland (Trustee) from Action for Pulmonary fibrosis gave talks about the charity and how it is working to support patients.

The group aims to provide support and information for patients, their families and friends. There will be informative talks and time to chat with others affected by the same condition over a cup of tea or coffee.

New members are always welcomed so please just turn up on the day or if you would like to ask any further information please contact Clive or Sue Green. We look forward to seeing you, please come along and benefit from the great support these groups can give.

Next Meeting:

9th January 2019   2.00pm- 4.00pm
