The Hull and East Yorkshire Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group

The Hull group has been running every 3 months since November 2013.

The aim of the group is to offer support and impart information and news to patients with pulmonary fibrosis, their partners, carers and friends. Topics covered include travelling with IPF, holiday insurance, managing breathlessness at home, new treatments, first aid, yoga, oxygen therapy and support in the community.

Meetings are usually held on a Monday afternoon, 2.00pm-4.00pm every 3 months in the lecture theatre at Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, Hull, HU16 5JQ.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE FOR MONDAY 10 FEBRUARY: owing to a refit of the usual venue, the meeting will be held at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, Grange Park Lane, Willerby HU10 6EA. (2-4pm)

Anne English- Respiratory Physiotherapist

Caty Wood- Complementary Therapist

Caroline Wright- Clinical Trials Manager

We Allow plenty of time for patients to chat to each other, share experiences and ideas. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided at each meeting. We generally have some money raising event to help support the group and raise money for research.
