Herefordshire Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group

Herefordshire held their first Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group on Tuesday 3rd October at Bartestree Village Hall from 2.30pm-4pm. The group will run every 3 months and will be open to patients, their families and carers of anyone affected by Pulmonary fibrosis. The aim of the meetings will be to provide information and education with reference to pulmonary fibrosis and there will be a chance to meet others that are directly affected and experiencing the same lifestyle changes brought on by this disease.

At the first meeting Julie Manning (ILD Nurse Specialist) from The County Hospital will be there to greet you alongside Alan (current patient) and Pat Stokes, who have been invaluable in their support and involvement in the helping and setting up of this group. Lorna McLauchlan, Support Group Co-ordinator for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis will also be present to give a short talk about the charity.

If you would like more information or would like to come along to the first meeting please contact:
