Launch of West Bromwich support group – IPF – Support

13th September saw the launch of the new “Pulmonary Fibrosis Action Group” held at West Bromwich Library, High Street, West Bromwich. There was a good turnout for the first meeting, around 24 patients and carers attended. Lorna McLauchlan the Support Group Coordinator for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis attended to support the group and gave a talk about the charity and how it is working to support people with PF. Pictured are Sarah Evans, Respiratory  Clinical  Nurse Specialist at SANDWELL AND WEST BIRMINGHAM HOSPITALS NHS TRUST and Tina Woodhouse and Tracy Hackett who regularly fundraise for the charity and attended the meeting. Glyn and Sarah have worked hard to set up of the group and Glyn can be contacted on 07982 668110. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month in the Library meeting room.
