Gloucester Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group hold first meeting

The first meeting of Gloucester Pulmonary Fibrosis support group took place at the Churchdown Community Centre. Hosted by Fiona Craven and two other nurses from the Gloucestershire Care Services.

Howard Almond, APF trustee, was there to support the first meeting and says:

Over 40 people attended, with a lively mix of patients and carers this is going to be a buoyant group. It was nice to meet some faces from the Pulmonary Fibrosis UK Facebook group.

The venue was spacious with plenty of parking and most importantly no stairs or slopes, everything on the level.

It is intended that the group will meet on the first Friday of every second month, and a program of speakers for the first few meetings has been arranged, and there were plenty of suggestions for further meetings.

Thank you Fiona for arranging this.
