Colchester Zoo Stampede Run – Sam’s first half marathon – IPF

Sarah Pamphilon’s mum was diagnosed with IPF three years ago. Cousin Sam wanted to raise money for research by entering the Colchester Zoo Stampede Half Marathon on 8th September, his first half marathon.  Despite a knee injury the week before the run, he completed the course in 2 hours 19  minutes and more than doubled the target of £500. To date the sum raised for APF is a staggering £1177.

Sarah says “As a family we are all so proud of Sam for doing his first half marathon and hope the money helps, even just a little”.
