We’re part of the Listen for the Sounds of IPF – a global awareness campaign

IPF World Week marks the launch of the global campaign “Listen for the Sounds of IPF” alongside the EU-IPFF; patients groups from 14 countries.

The campaign is highlighting the importance of recognising early signs & symptoms of IPF and of accelerating patient referral to a respiratory specialist. In honour of all IPF patients, Europe’s first IPF patient organisation, EU-IPFF has launched a site dedicated to understanding IPF diagnosis and the importance of accurate and quick referral. Visit www.ipfsounds.org for more information.

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis are proud to be a part of the EU-IPFF and of this vital campaign in IPF World Week.

We know from talking to you, the patients, carers and families, how this is a key issue that needs much improvement and thought. We have listened to you as an IPF community and are working hard to address this.
