#GivingTuesday 28 November – be part of something amazing!

#GivingTuesday takes place on Tuesday 28 November and is a global giving movement where millions of people from all over the world come together on one day to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.

#GivingTuesday is a day for giving back to a cause that means something to you. Every act of generosity counts whether you can donate to our charity, spread the word about our good works or help raise awareness of this devastating lung disease. #GivingTuesday takes place on 28 November and we would love you to get involved and help us raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis and raise as much as we can! Last year an estimated 4.5 million people in Britain did something to support a good cause on the day such as donating money, fundraising, volunteering time or talking to friends and family about the work of charities.

What are our plans and what can you do to help?

We can’t do this alone – we need the entire IPF community behind us to help make a real difference during this global awareness day.

  • We will be launching our Just Giving Christmas Appeal page – please help us reach our £5000 target!
  • We will be encouraging you to #PassItOn4PF by donating and/or simply talking about pulmonary fibrosis then tagging your friends and family and “passing it on”
  • We will be talking lots on social media, giving links to new fundraising ideas and ways to give

Make sure you are ready next Tuesday and follow us on an to get involved with this global day of giving and support us!

There’s still time to hold an event on #GivingTuesday! Why not hold a bake sale in your work place or at home? Register you event here and email for some free merchandise such as wristbands, balloons, collection box and leaflets!
