Classical singer Emily Estelle donates money from album to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis
Classical Singer Emily Estelle, whose father was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis is donating £1 from each album sale to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Emily first discovered the condition when her father, John Wetherall was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis after a year of progressively struggling to breathe.
Emily says: “For families with someone suffering from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis it doesn’t just have an effect on the person diagnosed but also the people closest to them.
“All you wish for is for is the person you love so dearly to wake up with nothing wrong with them. I wanted to do all that I could to raise awareness of this life-changing disease. My newly released album Rise Above is simply filled with love and hope.”
APF Chair Karen Hughes said: “This is a lovely Christmas gift for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. We are a small but fast growing charity and every penny goes towards supporting and empowering those with this disease. We are so grateful to Emily Estelle for her support.”
