Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis attends Primary Care Respiratory Society conference

Today Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis attended the Primary Care Respiratory Society meeting with respiratory nurses and healthcare professionals and discussed how we can support them and work together.

The PCRS conference is the premier respiratory conference for primary, community and integrated care health professionals. This year’s PCRS-UK conference will explore how we can work with patients in the consultation to help them bring about long term sustainable improvements not only in their respiratory condition but also their overall health and well being, through active participation in their care.

APF Chair Elect Steve Jones sits on a discussion panel at the PCRS conference

We are attending two other key conferences this year, the ILD INN nurse network Annual Conference and the British Thoracic Society winter meeting. Our aim to to talk to specialists to let them know about our lecture series for nurses and to talk about opportunities to work together to improve IPF patient care.
