Students at the School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies at Cardiff Uni blow bubbles for IPF Week!

It’s IPF Week this week and people from all over the country are getting involved and blowing bubbles.

Blowing bubbles is the symbol of this year’s IPF World Week – it is to show solidarity and support for those with pulmonary fibrosis and to demonstrate how difficult it can be to draw the breath needed to blow bubbles.

Julie Hocking, a respiratory nurse specialist who runs the Llandough support group, was asked to deliver a lecture about IPF to these 3rd Year student nurses at the School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies at Cardiff University this week.

A big thank you to all the students and to Julie for getting involved in IPF Week and raising awareness!

Why don’t you blow bubbles and take a picture to raise awareness for IPF Week? You can share it with us on Twitter.com/actionpfcharity or our Facebook.com/actionpulmonaryfibrosis page.
