A lively ILD nurse training day in Birmingham!

A very successful training day for interstitial lung disease nurse specialists and trainees was held in Birmingham on 15 September.

ILD training day

Over 50 nurses attended and the feedback was excellent. Delegates left exhausted but enthused!

The day included contributions from specialist consultants and ILD nurses from around the country including two presentations about IPF from Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis trustees. Also our Chairman, Mike Bray, spoke from the perspective of a patient and explained the work of the charity.

The event was funded by Boehringer Ingelheim and organised by Geraldine Burge, ILD nurse specialist at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis was delighted to support this event and we look forward to supporting four similar events at different venues across the country next year.
